Record and Replay Data

Record data to a .csv file to replay data at a later time.

When you save streamed data in an Excel workbook, all you have is a static copy of the data. By using the record function, not only do you have a copy of the data, but you can also play back the data as if you were streaming the data live. This is primarily useful when displaying the data in a chart.

Record Data

  1. Click Start Data to start streaming data.
  2. Click Record Data to record the streamed data.
  3. Click Stop Recording when you are finished recording data. A window appears to save the file.
  4. Select a location and name for your file then click Save.

Replay Data

  1. Click Disconnect Device to disconnect from PASCO Data Streamer.
  2. Select Import Data File . Select the .csv file that contains your recorded data then click Open.
  3. Click Play Data to replay the recorded data.
