Data Streamer Ribbon
Select the Data Streamer tab in the Excel ribbon to access the Data Streamer tools.
Data Sources
Connect PASCO Data Streamer to Excel or import a data file containing previously recorded data.
- Connect
or Disconnect
a Device - Use to connect or disconnect PASCO Data Streamer from Excel.
- Import Data File
- Use to import a data file containing previously recorded data and replay the recorded data. This feature is available when PASCO Data Streamer is disconnected from Excel.
Data Streaming
Use these tools to start or stop data streaming from a connected sensor.
- Start Data
- Click to start streaming data. Data begins to appear in the Data In sheet.
- Stop Data
- Click to stop streaming data.
Data Recording
Record data to save to a .csv file that you can replay at a later time.
- Record Data
- Click to record the streaming data. You must first click Start Data before recording data.
- Stop Recording
- Click to stop recording the streaming data and save the data as a CSV file.
- Capture Screen
- Click to capture a screenshot and save it to the clipboard.
To replay recorded data, disconnect PASCO Data Streamer
and then click Import Data
File
. Click Play Data
to replay the recorded data.
Advanced
- Reset Data
- Click to clear the streamed data from the spreadsheet.

- This tool isn't used with PASCO Data Streamer.
