-
Experiment Options
Provides options to start a new experiment, open a previously saved Spectrometry file, or save the current file.
-
This page allows you to measure the absorbance and transmittance versus wavelength for solutions. You can also use this page to set an analysis wavelength for the Concentration and Time pages.
-
This page allows you to plot absorbance versus concentration for solutions, and to apply a linear fit to the data to determine the unknown concentration of a solution.
Note
The missing analysis wavelength icon indicates that an analysis wavelength needs to be set before using this page.
-
This page allows you to plot absorbance, transmittance, or concentration versus time for solutions undergoing a reaction.
Note
The missing analysis wavelength icon indicates that an analysis wavelength needs to be set before using this page.
-
This page allows you to plot light intensity versus wavelength for emission spectra.
-
Spectrometer connection status
Indicates whether a spectrometer is connected or not connected . If a spectrometer is not detected, click this button to connect a spectrometer to Spectrometry.
-
Click Snapshot to take a snapshot of the current displayed graph. Click Journal to save the snapshot to a file, copy the snapshot to the clipboard, or print the snapshot.
-
Sharing
Provides the option to export recorded data as a CSV file to import into a spreadsheet application. On mobile devices, you also have the option to share the Spectrometry experiment file with various other apps.
-
Info and Settings
Change the language, determine which version of Spectrometry is installed, or access the help.
