Change a Wireless Sensor's measurement range
Toggle the range of a measurement on certain Wireless Sensors.
Certain Wireless Sensors allow you to toggle their measurements between two or more ranges of measurable values. The sensors which offer range options for their measurements are:
- Wireless Voltage Sensor (PS-3211)
- Wireless Current Sensor (PS-3212)
- Wireless Motion Sensor (PS-3219)
- Wireless Magnetic Field Sensor (PS-3221)
- Wireless Acceleration/Altimeter (PS-3223)
Follow the steps below to change the measurement range of these sensors.
-
Connect the sensor to SPARKvue and create a display of data from the sensor.
Note
If you are using the Wireless Acceleration/Altimeter (PS-3223), the display must be set to record one of the measurements from the built-in Wireless Acceleration Sensor in order to adjust the acceleration measurement range.
-
From the Experiment Screen, click the Live Data Bar for the sensor and select "Configure Sensor" from the list of options.
-
Select the box next to the Range setting and select the desired range option from the list.
-
Select OK to return to the Experiment Screen.
