Standards alignment reference

Many of the curriculum topics available in PASCO Portal feature a standards alignment box directly below the Description box. This box displays a list of relevant science standards which are addressed by that particular lesson, along with a brief summary of each standard. This box is useful for identifying how and when to integrate a lesson into an annual curriculum. Select the box's name to expand the box and view the standards.

Note

The set of standards from which the contents of this box are drawn vary by curriculum and location. For example, lessons in the OpenSciEd curriculum will always have their standards drawn from the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). By contrast, the standards displayed on Essential Physics chapters will vary depending on your state.
