Search and filter
Experiment search
By default, the Experiment Library displays a list of all available experiments. Since this is not always ideal, you can restrict these results using the search function. To search for a specific phrase within the Experiment Library, simply enter that phrase into the search bar and press the Enter key or select the magnifying glass icon on the bar. Any labs that do not contain the entered phrase in the title, description, or both will be hidden from view. To remove a search term and return to viewing all experiments, click the X button at the right of the search bar.
You can also refine your search by applying a filter. The filters restrict the search results based on up to four criteria: grade level, subject, topic, and required PASCO products. To apply a filter, select the Filters button next to the search bar, then select the desired criteria for your results and select Apply. The Grade Level, Subject, and Topic filters are dropdown lists, while the Product Name or Number box brings up a box in which you search for a specific product by name or by product ID number. To remove all filters from the search, select Reset.
You can display the results either by title or by date uploaded. To switch between ordering systems, select an option from the Sort By dropdown box. When Title is selected, you can select the arrow button next to the dropdown box to toggle between alphabetical order and reverse alphabetical order.
Curriculum search
You can also perform searches for lessons in an individual curriculum, such as the PASCO Physics Academy or Essential Chemistry. Similar to the Experiment Library, searching a phrase in a curriculum will hide all results that do not contain that phrase in the title, description, or both. Note that the filter function is not available for the curriculum search, and that results cannot be ordered by title or upload date.
