Locate access codes

PASCO Capstone and Chemvue access codes

Access to PASCO Capstone and Chemvue data collection software is included with the purchase of a PASCO Portal subscription. In order to use these programs, you will require an access code which can be found within your Portal account. To access these codes:

  1. Select Menu on the Portal homepage.

  2. Select Support, then select Software Help and Downloads.

  3. Scroll down to the listings for Capstone and Chemvue. The access codes will be listed near the top of each box, as shown below.

Teacher and student e-Book access codes

Purchasing a Portal subscription also provides access to the teacher e-Book version of PASCO's Essential Physics and Essential Chemistry textbooks. Instructors also have the option to purchase access to the student version of these e-Books. Accessing either version of the e-Books will require an access code, which can be found in the Profile page in Portal.

  1. On the Portal homepage, select the profile icon, then select Profile from the list.

  2. Scroll down to the Access Codes section bottom of the "My Profile" page. Teacher access codes for the Essential Physics and Essential Chemistry e-Books (as well as student access codes if the student e-Book has been purchased) will be available here.

    You can also check your subscription status, including start and end dates for purchased subscriptions, in the Active Modules section.

Alternatively, you can view student access codes directly from the Essential Science page. Select PASCO Essential Science from the Quick Links column on the home page, switch to the tab for your desired textbook, and select View Student Access Codes.
