Clever single sign-on

Clever Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to log into PASCO Portal via the Clever login portal, using a single set of credentials. Clever SSO simplifies user authentication, enhances security, and enables centralized user management. Before Clever SSO can be used for your district, the Clever admin for the district must set up Portal within Clever.

Set up the PASCO Portal app for your district

There are two methods to set up the PASCO Portal app for a district. The first method is to add the PASCO Portal app to your district by requesting the app. The second method is to accept an invitation from PASCO. Both of these methods are outlined below.

Add PASCO Portal to your district

  1. In the Clever portal, select Add applications from the Applications menu.

  2. Search for "PASCO Portal", then select Request App. PASCO may also provide a District Signup URL offline, which can be used to request the PASCO Portal app.

The app will now appear as "Requested" on the homepage. Once the request is approved, the app status will update to one of the following based on the stage of the setup process that it is in.

Once the status is updated to "Launched", district users can begin logging into Portal using Clever SSO.

Accept or decline an application invitation

When PASCO invites a district to connect with PASCO Portal, the district admin will receive an email with the subject Set Up PASCO Portal with a link to accept the invitation. Simply select Accept Your Invitation to begin the setup process and start sharing data with the app.

You can also accept the invitation from the Clever Dashboard. Select Applications, then select View Invite for the PASCO Portal application. Within the application, select Accept to begin the setup process and start sharing data with the app.

If you wish to decline the application invitation, you can do so from the application on the Clever Dashboard by selecting Decline. You will be taken to a short survey where you can add a message stating why the request was declined. Once you complete this survey, the invitation will be declined and the application will no longer be listed on the Clever Dashboard.

Note

If PASCO has questions about a district's decision to decline the invitation, they will be provided with the district admin's email address. If an invitation was declined in error, please contact Clever Support with the name of the district and application, and the Clever team will restore the invitation.

Log into PASCO Portal using Clever SSO

  1. On the login page for PASCO Portal, select Log In with Clever.

  2. On the Clever login portal, select District admin log in.

  3. Enter your credentials and select Log in.
