Extension paragraphs

Many paragraphs in the Essential Chemistry eBook feature a "more" button after the last sentence, as shown below. Clicking this button opens an extension paragraph, which contains additional content that extends or enhances the ideas in the preceding paragraph. These paragraphs allow students to delve deeper into areas of chemistry that intrigue them.

Hover your mouse over a "more" button to view a floating window with a description of the extension paragraph's contents. To close an extension paragraph after reading it, click the original button again, or click the "less" button at the end of the extension paragraph.
