Zero sensor data

Set the current value of a measurement to 0 at the start of each run.

Certain sensors, such as the Wireless Voltage Sensor (PS-3211) and the Wireless Current Sensor (PS-3212), are able to have their measurements zeroed at the start of each new run of data. Follow the steps below to set this up for your experiment.

  1. Connect the sensor to Chemvue.
  2. From any page, select the Hardware Setup button in the top right.
  3. From the list of available sensors, select the Sensor Properties icon next to the name of the sensor you wish to zero.

  4. From the Sensor Properties menu, check the box labeled Zero Sensor On Start, then select OK.

  5. Set up a display featuring the sensor measurement to be zeroed in the table, graph, or graph and table page.

  6. Select the Start button to begin recording data. The value of the measurement will automatically be set to 0 at the start of each run.
