- Using the micro USB cable provided with the sensor, connect the sensor to a USB port or powered USB hub on your computing device. The sensor will automatically connect to Chemvue and the Bluetooth Status LED will turn off.
Note
Not all Wireless Sensors can be connected to software via USB. Check the manual for your chosen sensor to see whether or not it supports USB connection.
The sensor will now be listed under Connected Devices in the Wireless Devices menu.
PASPORT Sensors
Note
Connecting a PASPORT Sensor to the interface will require a PASPORT interface, such as the AirLink (PS-3200), 550 Universal Interface (UI-5001), or SPARK LXi2 Datalogger (PS-3600B).
- Turn on your PASPORT interface.
-
Connect your interface to Chemvue via USB or Bluetooth as applicable.
For interfaces requiring a USB connection, such as the 850 Universal Interface (UI-5000), connect the included USB cable from the interface to a USB port or powered USB hub connected to your computer.
For wireless interfaces, such as the AirLink Interface (PS-3200):
- From any page, select the Wireless Devices button to open the Wireless Devices menu.
- Turn on the wireless interface.
- From the list of available wireless devices, select the interface with the device ID matching the one printed on your interface.
-
Plug the PASPORT sensor into the connected interface. Chemvue will automatically detect and recognize the sensor.
To disconnect a PASPORT sensor from Chemvue, simply unplug the sensor from the interface.
