Calibrate an ozone sensor

Improve the accuracy of an ozone sensor by calibrating its measurement.

The following procedure allows you to calibrate the concentration measurement of a PASCO ozone sensor, such as the one found in the Wireless Air Quality Sensor (PS-3226).

  1. Connect the ozone sensor to Chemvue.
  2. On the live data page, observe the sensor's ozone concentration measurement until the reading stabilizes, or for at least 20 minutes if it does not stabilize.
  3. Select the Displayed Measurement button for the ozone concentration measurement, then select Calibrate from the list of options.

  4. The ozone sensor's concentration measurement at the moment of calibration will be set to 0%, which is the expected concentration of ozone under typical conditions. Select OK to close the confirmation message.
