Calibrate an altimeter

Improve the accuracy of an altimeter, such as the one included in the Wireless Barometer (PS-4255) by setting an offset calibration.

1. Connect the altitude sensor to Chemvue.
2. From any page, select a Displayed Measurement button and select "Altitude" from the list.

3. Select the same Displayed Measurement button again and select Calibrate.

   

4. Select One Standard (1 point offset) from the dropdown list, then select Next.

   

5. Enter the sensor's current elevation, as determined via external tools, into the Standard Value box, then select Set Current Value to Standard Value.

   

6. Review your new calibration to make sure it is appropriate, then select Apply.
