Displays Palette

  1. Graph

Display data in an XY line graph, showing one or more measurements versus time or another measurement. Modify the data display and analyze the data using multiple tools.

  2. Table

Display data using two or more columns and show data statistics.

  3. Digits

Show the most recently recorded data sample as digits, statistics of a single data run, or text output from a Blockly program.

  4. Scope

Create a display that functions as a digital oscilloscope. This display is useful for viewing measurements that oscillate rapidly in time such as electrical signals and sound waves.

  5. FFT

Create a spectral analysis display, which uses a Fast Fourier Transform to measure the relative signal intensity as a function of frequency.

  6. Meter

Show the most recently recorded data sample or a statistical value of a single run on an analog display.

  7. Bar Meter

Visually compare the most recently recorded data values across similar measurements.

  8. Histogram

Create a histogram bar graph. The height of each of the bars is proportional to the number of data points that fall within the range of values that the bar represents. Several tools are available for histograms, including statistics, setting bin sizes, and overlaying.

  9. Circuit

Build a circuit and display measurements recorded by voltage and current sensors.

  10. Video Analysis

Create a display to open a movie file or capture a video for analysis.

  11. Image

Create a box to insert an image from a file or capture an image for viewing or analysis.

  12. Movie

Create a box to insert a movie file, capture an image from a video camera or microscope connected through a USB port, record a stand-alone video using a USB webcam, or use a USB video camera as a sensor to record a movie along with other sensor data.

  13. Text Box

Create a text box for explanatory text and images.

  14. Text Entry Box

Create a text entry box for user input.

  15. Placeholder

Create a spacer for a future display, or create white space.
