Calibrate an ozone sensor

Calibrate the reading of an ozone sensor, such as the one found in the Wireless Air Quality Sensor (PS-3226).

  1. Connect your sensor to Capstone.
  2. Display the ozone sensor's concentration measurement and select Record . Observe the data collection until the measurement stabilizes, then select Stop . (If the measurement does not stabilize, observe for at least 20 minutes before stopping.)
  3. Select Calibration from the Tools palette.
  4. Choose "Concentration" as the type of measurement to be calibrated, then select Next.

  5. Make sure that the box for the appropriate sensor is checked, then select Finish.

The ozone sensor's concentration measurement at the moment of calibration will be set to 0%, which is the expected concentration of ozone under typical conditions.
